Pianist and songwriter, Christof vd Berg performs original songs in a cabaret style capturing the  traits of fascinating characters and memorable places.

 

The thrilling and mysterious Bohemia, with its friendly flower people and forbidden night fruit,  is the inspiration for  five main characters: A waitress that seeks constant recognition; a thinker  too troubled  to enjoy the beauty in small things; A lover with dark sexual secrets; a wild young girl hungry for experience and a flamboyant socialite that doesn't take life too seriously and spills laughter as she takes another sip of chardonnay.

The hour long show  concludes with the performer in dialogue with his own soul and coming to a realization.

Each song  illustrates the beauty of the human imperfections and encourages us to open our eyes to a wonderful world  of complexity.
